EU is likely to initiate AD action against China
Posted on 10 August 2007
It is reported that the European Steel Federation (Eurofer) is likely to request the European Commission to investigate anti-dumping case against steel imports from
- Stainless cold rolled sheet
- Galvanized sheet
- hot rolled coil
- wire rod
- hot rolled plate (tentative)
- seamless pipe (tentative)
However, they are still discussing whether they will also include the last two products (hot rolled plate and seamless pipe). At the moment, the situation has not yet reached the stage of initiation of anti-dumping procedures. Yet, sources noted that the European Steel Tube Association (Esta) is likely to conduct surveillance on the import situation.
