Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Chu Tuan Cap has called for Japanese investors to look at opportunities within infrastructure upgrades in Viet Nam.

The ambassador made the appeal at a seminar introducing the Vietnamese economy which was held in October 17 by the Nagano-Viet Nam Exchange Association.

The diplomat also suggested Japanese investors from the prefecture eye the banking and retail sectors, as Viet Nam accelerates the equitisation of state-owned banks.

Japanese businesses showed their interest in infrastructure in Viet Nam , particularly the road system linking southern provinces.

Statistics released by the Nagano Businesses’ Association showed that at present, 15 local companies from the prefecture have developed trade relations with Viet Nam.
