It is reported that CRC is currently being sold in South East Asia at no less than 680 USD per tonne cfr for base grade which is an increase of 20 USD per tonne from the previous month by. A Taiwanese trade source said that the price could go up to 690-700 USD per tonne cfr since the market remains good and that CRC producers could make more profit from the bigger gap between HRC price and CRC price. In addition, there is a rumour that China will be removing the CRC export rebate of 5% in October.
