NLMK Group, which claims to be the largest steelmaker in Russia and one of the most efficient in the world, has completed a follow-up audit of its management systems in the areas of environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and energy efficiency. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the British Standards Institution (BSI) conducted the audit online.

NLMK Group’s Russian sites have fully confirmed the compliance of their current management systems to the requirements of international ISO standards 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems). The certifications have been renewed until 2022. Pursuant to the audit, NLMK has also obtained an ISO 50001 certificate (Energy Management Systems) in its new 2018 edition.

NLMK Group’s steel products are used in various industries, from construction and machine building to the manufacturing of power-generation equipment and offshore wind turbines.
