Australia launches AD & CVD investigation on painted steel strapping from China & Vietnam

It was reported that on May 27th, 2020, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced to initiate anti-dumping and countervailing investigations against imported painted steel strapping from China and Vietnam.
The products involved are painted carbon steel strapping with a nominal width of 12mm to 32mm and a nominal thickness of 0.5mm to 1.5mm, regardless of whether they are rolled or waxed.
Stainless steel strapping and galvanized steel strapping are not within the scope of this case.
The investigation period is from April 1st, 2019 to March 31st, 2020, and the damage investigation period starts from April 1st, 2016.
The Australian customs code of the product involved is 7212.40.00.62.
